Priced at $60 this was a very good choice - image quality excellent - the microphone records accurately and with excellent sensitivity.
However, the mount does not expand enough for larger monitor mounting, and there is no easy way to make it stand alone if you want more distance between you & the camera!

I am a new Skype user and needed a camera/mic system for my desktop computer. The C525 worked great right out of the box and continues to do a great job. Good audio and video quality, and no issues with Skype at all.

It's been quite a while since we've purchased a webcam. I was totally surprised how easy this one was to install and how clear it operated with sound and video.
